Local Storage: All your sticky notes, highlighted text, and position data are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to any external servers (except for the highlighted text sent to OpenAI for processing).

Data Retention: Your data is retained indefinitely in your browser's local storage until you:

• Manually delete individual sticky notes
• Clear your browser's extension data
• Uninstall the DeepDive extension

DeepDive integrates with the following third-party service:

• OpenAI API (ChatGPT-4o): When you request a follow-up explanation, the highlighted text is sent to OpenAI's API to generate the response.
